someone told me that running a startup is extremely easy and being a founder is f-ing simple. it's like "you guys have the best life and all you do is order people around." i'm not going to lie, that made me feel very pissed. how the hell can you come and tell me that it is extremely simple to run a startup?
the latest that i've slept is early morning — 7:30 am, 8:00 am. it's not even humanly hours at this point. when my co-founders and i discussed that it's been a long time since we saw the sunrise, one of us just goes: "hey, we saw it yesterday. because we slept at 11:30 am."
that is how it has been. throughout the day we are serving our clients — they work in daylight, right? they call, we attend to every query, every change. when night comes, that is when we develop our own skills. that is when we sit. that is when we learn claude code. that is when we try different stuff.
judging someone based on your perception is extremely inaccurate. i'm not saying employees have an easy life — i'm pretty sure it's equally difficult. i just felt hurt, so i'm venting. isn't this a platform to vent?
