a business is built on efficiencies

dictated, unscripted. lightly cleaned up. highlighted parts were extended by my editor-in-silicon and approved by me.

small realization: a business is built on efficiencies. nothing else. if you get 100 small things right — if you improve 1% on every aspect from your pricing to your quotations to your conversion rates to your sops — only then will you be able to scale up. only then can you make something bigger and better out of it.

there is no single big thing you get correct that makes you succeed at business. it's like a school examination: five subjects, and you must improve in all of them to improve your percentage. the more you improve each subject marginally, the better your grade for the year.
