Your company is a pipe, and time is the fourth dimension

dictated, unscripted. lightly cleaned up.

Imagine your company as a pipe. Work enters one side and finished output leaves the other.

In video, pre-production plans, production shoots, and post-production edits. If two teams can create work faster than one editor can finish it, water enters faster than it exits. That is a bottleneck.

Hiring another editor is one fix. Changing what reaches the editor is another. Pre-production can organize footage. Assistants can prepare timelines. The expensive specialist can spend more time on the decision only they can make.

The pipe is not only three-dimensional. Time changes it. Work arriving on monday may be harmless. The same work arriving two hours before delivery becomes a flood.

I fill the tank by bringing in clients. Rudra controls the tap by deciding what enters whose calendar and when.

Before adding headcount, locate the narrow point. Then decide whether it needs another person, less input, better preparation, or more time.
