Arrogance is a lot like stupidity. You may not suffer from it first. The people around you do.
I became a founder young, but that does not make me proof of some superior brain. I was born in Mumbai, into a business family, with a father who understands business and enough money to buy tools most people my age cannot afford.
Effort matters. Advantages also matter. Pretending the second group does not exist makes the first group impossible to judge honestly.
My fear is not growing up broke. It is growing up arrogant. The moment you believe every result proves you are better than the room, the room stops teaching you.
People avoid correcting arrogant people because correction becomes exhausting. That is how arrogance protects itself.
Stay proud of the work. Stay suspicious of the story in which you were the only reason it worked.
