adopting ai on an individual scale is worthless

dictated, unscripted. lightly cleaned up. highlighted parts were extended by my editor-in-silicon and approved by me.

i heard this quote — someone said adoption and utilization of ai on an individual scale is worthless. it leads to negligible productivity gains.

thinking about it: adopting anything on an individual scale as a founder is pretty useless. discounts, ai tools, whatever. as a founder, if you stop focusing there and start focusing on your business — the optimization of your services, the optimization of the people you hire, the optimization of your systems and procedures — that leads to a much better productivity gain.

literally don't even download the discount app. it genuinely doesn't matter — on an individual scale of course. start focusing on where you can optimize as a business. you won't even realize you are missing something once you start adopting as a business.

this is the exact thesis keep pivoting runs on. one person using ai saves an hour. a business rebuilt around agents ships 54 websites. same technology, different altitude.
