Varun choraria taught me a very simple way to check whether a story actually goes somewhere: situation, task, action, result.
What was happening? What needed to happen? What did you do? What changed?
I do not want every blog to show four corporate headings. That would make this notebook feel like a job interview. I use star behind the writing, not on top of it.
If the situation is clear but nothing is at stake, the story feels empty. If the task is clear but there is no action, I am only describing a problem. If there is no result, you have no reason to believe the action mattered.
The framework is not the voice. It is the skeleton. You should feel the story, not see the bones.
